Grace goes for new person if we don’t receive

Rejecting the Pillar of Cloud / Fire

John 8:56-59
New King James Version (NKJV)

56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”

57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”

58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

A Man Born Blind Receives Sight

John 9:1-6
New King James Version (NKJV)

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay.

Pillar of Cloud ( Pillar of Fire )

Exodus 14:19-20
New King James Version (NKJV)

19 And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them. 20 So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.

  • Pillar of Cloud made the Egyptians blinded.

Woman brought for stoning

John 8:7-9
New King James Version (NKJV)

So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them,“He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it,being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

  • Pharisees and Sadducee were blinded.
  • She could have also gone, because she has found the Light of Life.

Note: We received “Conscience” as a result of the fall of Adam and Eve.

Jesus is deaf to Accusations against You

How can Jesus be deaf?

Isaiah 42:19
New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Who is blind but My servant,
Or deaf as My messenger whom I send?
Who is blind as he who is perfect,
And blind as the Lord’s servant?

Jesus is purposely deaf to Accusations against You

John 8:6
New King James Version (NKJV)

This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

Jesus against Accusations

  • Jesus standing up with the Full heat, same as in mount Sinai
  • Jesus was defending for the women.
  • Jesus uplifted the law

John 8:7
New King James Version (NKJV)

So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them,“He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

Paul’s Approach to sin

Don’t you know

1 Corinthians 6:19
New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

  • is  –> It’s still IS, the temple
  • Proves Holy Spirit won’t leave you, but can be quenched.

Heavenly Calling

Sow Good things to the Spirit

Meditate on These Things

Philippians 4:8
New King James Version (NKJV)

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

  • Don’t meditate even on destruction and bad news stories. Pray for them but don’t focus more on them.

Be Generous and Do Good

Galatians 6:6-10
New King James Version (NKJV)

Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

  • As per bible, we are like people inside the Tabernacle.

Not everyone who says , ‘Lord’ shall enter heaven ?

Matthew 7:21-23
New King James Version (NKJV)

I Never Knew You

21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

In that day

  • The Day when Jesus return.
  • Second Coming of Christ

Time when every knows Jesus is Lord

  • Obviously everyone will call Him Lord, despite of whether they received Jesus or not before.

They said

  • Jesus didn’t say
  • It could be a lie.

What is the Will of the Father

  • Today ( NOT “IN THAT DAY ), if you call Him Lord, You believe in Him in your heart, you are doing the will of the Father.

John 6:40
New King James Version (NKJV)

40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

  • Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ now. NOT in that day
  • During sermon which unveils Christ, they see Jesus, they believe in Him and they are saved.

Will of the Father is NOT YOUR BEHAVIOR , NOT WORKS, NOT PERFORMANCE

God Dwells where we Dwell

When Israel in the Wilderness

Exodus 13:21-22
New King James Version (NKJV)

21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.

When Israel in Tabernacle

  • When all lived in Tents
  • God also lived in a tent called mishkan ( Tabernacle )

After crosssing Jordan

  • When they are to attack Jerico
  • Lord Jesus appeared with a sword in His right hand
  • Why Jesus appeared as a warrior?
    • Because His people is in warrior mode

When Israelite’s were in slavery in Egypt

  • The Lord appeared in The Burning Bush.
    • As if to say,
    • “I am feeling your heat”
    • “I have come down to deliver you”

Jesus always wants to be where you are

1 Corinthians 15:10

    • The grace of Good colleagues
    • The grace of Good company

Don’t remove the Mercy Seat

1 Samuel 6:19
New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Then He struck the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. He struck fifty thousand and seventy men of the people, and the people lamented because the Lord had struck the people with a great slaughter.

  • To Look into the ark, you need to move the mercy seat.
  • Ark has ten commandments inside

When we bring back the law, removing the mercy seat ( Grace/Undeserved Favor/Gift ), people die.

James 2:13
New King James Version (NKJV)

13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Questions by People with no Revelation of Jesus

Romans 5:20-21
New King James Version (NKJV)

20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded (pleonazo-increased), grace abound (huperperisseuo – superabounded and some more on top of that) much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  • huper is a preposition
  • huper means super in English
  • perisseuo = overflow
  • E.g.: Natural , Supernatural. Overflowing, Super overflowing
  • “some more on top of that” – Kenneth Wuest

Romans 6:1-2
New King James Version (NKJV)

People with no revelation of Jesus asking

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound (pleonazo-increased)?Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

  • They didn’t use the same word
  • They didn’t understand what Paul was saying
  • They had no revelation of Jesus
  • They didn’t listen to the message properly

“How can the medicine that’s supposed to kill the disease (grace) feed the disease (sin)?” – John Calvin

  • Grace is not an empowerment, but it produces the empowerment.
  • How it produces empowerment ? By the revelation of the Gift of no condemnation. That empowers to sin no more

John 8:10-12
New King James Version (NKJV)

10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

11 She said, “No one, Lord.”

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not (ou – me : strong negative) walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

  • shall not (ou – me : strong negative : Double Negative)

New Covenant Disciples

  • Matthew Mark Luke and John, Word Disciples (Singular and Plural ) used 200 times
  • Book of John 10 Times
  • Book of Acts 30 Times
  • After Acts there was no mention of the word “Disciple” , because we became the sons and daughters of God

Note: New Covenant Only starts after the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Which means we can’t say Mathew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts are full of New Covenant, as it hasn’t been established until the end of those most chapters. And those books are mainly written for Jewish people, but of course we can learn from it.

Last time Disciple is used as “Old Disciple”

Acts 21:16
King James Version (KJV)

16 There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

Once Father comes, we are no more disciples

Family of God

  • In other words now we are in the Family of God

John 20:17
New King James Version (NKJV)

17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”

  • we are not disciples like the Jewish people
  • There is a demarcation very clear that now we are the sons and daughters of God

Now we are called,

Son of God or Servant of God ( Servant : Duolos in Greek  http://ift.tt/1PfhgaV )

  • Only a Son can be a Glorious Servant
  • Glory when the son becomes a servant
  • A servant trying to be servant, there is no glory

John 17:6
New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus Prays for His Disciples

“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

Romans 8:15
New King James Version (NKJV)

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

  • Once Father comes, we are no more disciples
  • We are people that keep on learning for the rest of our lives
  • We will always be the followers of Jesus

Already we satisfied of being a Disciple

  • To carry the cross and to Follow Jesus
  • Jewish tradition is that, those who carry cross are on the way to death
  • Bible clearly says that “We are crucified with Christ”, we died with Christ and we are raised with Christ, which means, we have already carried the cross, died and raise.
    • That’s how we became a New Creation, the same moment when we Believed on Christ Jesus ( at the moment when we got saved )

Don’t go back to Old Covenant again

And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”

Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep. 18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” 19 This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, Follow Me.”

New Covenant Confession of sins

First Forgiven, then Confess your sins

James 5:15-16
New International Version (NIV)

15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

  1. Forgiven ( God Forgiving Us )
  2. Confess your sins to EACH OTHER ( Not to God : because God already forgave you in Point number 1. )

Example Situation

  1. Forgiven : Imagine someone paid off all you debts
  2. Confession of sins : You tell to others that your debts have been Paid by that someone

Jesus is that person who paid off all your debts.

Old Covenant Confession of sins

Proverbs 28:13
New International Version (NIV)

13 Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper,
but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

  1. Confess your sins
  2. Possible Forgiveness from God if the confession and the repentance is genuine

Sin Against Grace

Capernaum

  • Place where many miracles happened
  • Place which is called the Town of Jesus in the Gospels

Matthew 11:23
New King James Version (NKJV)

23 And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

Exalted to Heaven

Sin Against Grace is the worst sin than the sin of Sodom
