• Its NOT about Repentance about you
• Its NOT about Repentance about your behavior
• Its NOT about Repentance about your actions
• Its NOT about Repentance about your deeds

Repentance about you, your behaviour, your actions, your deeds is self occupation

Repentance Towards God

• Paul went on preaching, Repentance towards God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ

Acts 20:20-21

²⁰ how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, ²¹ testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

• List all sins one by one for Repentance

• We used to think God is against us

• God is out there to find fault with us

New Covenant Repentance

• Thinking God is for us
• Not out to find fault with us
• Out to bless us
• God doesn’t hate us
• God is not mad at us
• God loves us
